About this demo site:

This site is just one module in an Receiving/Order/Inventory system built in Microsoft Access. The database tracks any items received and any items shipped. With this information it calculates inventory. Download the database file and see what is driving this site. (Requires Microsoft Access 97)

The inventory in the Access database is displayed on this web site. If a new item is received and entered into the Access database, it automatically appears on the web site catalog. If you ship all of an item from inventory, that item automatically disappears from the web site catalog. The website is constantly updated automatically by the database.

The person maintaining the web site catalog simply enters items received and items shipped using the simple Access interface. You DO NOT have to write computer code to update the catalog.
