MATA is operated and managed primarily by volunteers dedicated to the history and preservation of electric railways in the North Texas area. We cheerfully accept donations of money, equipment and time. Volunteer participation is welcome in all areas of operation: operators, conductors, mechanics, electricians, administrators, public relations people, and more. Whatever your specialty or desire, there is a place for you with us!
